You won't experience the sogginess as with traditional thin soy sauces. Fried foods will stay crisp and crunchy; rice won't get soggy. Maruso Soy Sauce is especially good for dipping sushi and sashimi. Use it with traditional Asian foods such as egg rolls and won tons, but also with non-Asian foods such as hamburgers, French fries or pizza! INGREDIENTS

We select only the highest quality natural ingredients for Maruso Soy Sauce. Unlike most soy sauces which are brewed from yellow soy beans, Maruso is brewed from black soy beans, sea salt, cane sugar, rice and water. Though black beans cost more, we feel that the exquisite flavor is worth it. Taste is everything at Maruso.


As with other dark foods such as chocolate and red wine, soy sauce brewed from black soy beans has been found to contain higher levels of anti-oxidants—up to 10 times that found in an equal quantity of red wine. There is no wheat used in the process, so Maruso is safe for those who are gluten intolerant. We do not use artificial color or preservatives.
