is built around the philosophy that everyone in the organization shares in the experience of growing a company. We wouldn’t be as successful as we are today if we didn’t allow our employees to have a voice in what we do. Administrative Assistant, Data Entry
20hrs/week
Hourly compensation
Schedule: Weekdays (no nights/weekends)
Responsibilities
40% Accounts Payable Assistant
40% Purchasing Assistant
20% General administrative Support
Tasks
Accounts Payable-Inventory
- Match inventory receipts with vendor invoices weekly
- Enter payables into inventory management system
- Resolve any discrepancies in quantities and pricing with the warehouse
- Print checks and mail to vendors within payment terms
- File all paid invoices
- Order office supplies
Purchasing
- Update prices in the inventory management system
- Maintain vendor catalogue file
- Data entry
General Administrative
- Assist accountant and buyer as needed
- Maintain the filing system
- Opportunity to learn about general ledger/accrual accounting
- Opportunity to learn about retail purchasing
Qualifications
- 1 year in an office environment
- Proficient in excel, professional experience using excel
- Retail experience preferred
- Accounting experience or education a plus
- 10 key proficient
