We are Cooks of Crocus Hill. For 40 years, we’ve been the Twin Cities go to resource for all things culinary. We are looking for a few rock star sales associates for our Edina location. Ideally, you are interested in food, you have good energy and you love people. You’re a self starter, you’re curious and you are interested in inspiring people to join in your culinary adventure.

Position Requirements:
• Minimum 15hrs/week
• Availability days, weekends, evenings & holidays
• Knowledge about cooking
• Excellent communication skills
• 1 year retail experience
• Ability to lift 30 lbs
• Minimum 18yrs of age

Job Title: Part Time Dishwasher – For cooking classes and private events

Description:
This is an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door at a passionate culinary operation and network with many local and regional
chef and other food professionals. Shifts will include dishwashing for small cooking classes as well as large private events and parties.
There is a large potential for growth within the organization.

We require
• Flexible schedules, including weekedays and weekends. For 3-4 shifts per week. (typical shifts are average 6hrs in duration)

Job Title: Culinary Assistants – For cooking classes and private events

Major Responsibilities
15% – Class/ event set up and prep

Summary of Responsibilities:
• Be a champion for quality customer service as defined by Cooks

• Approach all aspects of work with positive attitude
• Attend Cooks trainings and vendor trainings

Required Experience: 2 years cooking, catering or wait staff experience. This position reports to the School Coordinator and is part-time (30-35 hrs/per week)

Flexible schedule required You must be at least 18 years of age, be able to work in an active environment for shifts at least 5 hours long, and be able to lift up to 40lbs. You will be required to work at any of the Cooks’ locations on occasion.

Position Overview: Lead the Cooks experience for classes and/or private events by sharing discoveries about food. In conjunction with the Cooks team, concept public classes, design and test recipes and provide entertainment to guests. Stage presence is a must, as we’ve been doing this before TV made it cool!

  • Cross-sell products offered on the Cooks sales floor during classes and events
  • Design classes that bring the Cooks experience to life.
  • Manage the flow of the class/event to finish on time and maintain a balance between action and rest throughout the experience.
  • Assist customers/guests with the production of food to ensure quality and taste.
  • Attend chef trainings and meetings as well as peer auditing of classes.
  • Participate in class creation and recipe creation.
